Edit your Obsidian Bases like a real database
BaseStudio gives your Markdown records tables, boards, timelines and formulas. Your notes stay files in your vault.
Try it here
This is the real BaseStudio table on a sample project tracker. Edit a cell, switch to the board, or open a record. Your changes stay in this page; a reload starts again.
What BaseStudio does
Edit Bases as a database
Type in cells, copy and paste ranges, fill down, and open a record to edit its Markdown body.
Many views of one Base
Table, cards, list, board, timeline, calendar, form and chart views. Filter, sort and group up to three levels.
Formulas and summaries
Formula columns use Obsidian's functions. Columns show summaries, and rules can color cells.
Your files stay Markdown
Each record is a note in your vault. BaseStudio never uploads your notes, and it has no telemetry.
In Obsidian and on the desktop
Use the Obsidian plugin on desktop and mobile, or the desktop app. One Pro license unlocks both.
A command line for agents
The basestudio command queries and changes a Base with the app's own code, and shares its undo history.
